“The Allure of Plumeria: An Ode to Addiction”
by Tex Norwood
In gardens where the plumerias sway,
A secret addiction finds its way.
A lure so sweet, a call so bold,
In each vibrant petal, stories told.
Plumeria, with your hues so bright,
You’ve captured hearts, day and night.
Pinks and yellows, whites so pure,
In your enchanting scent, we find a cure.
Once beheld, forever in thrall,
To the beauty that beckons, enthralls us all.
A blossom, a branch, a tree so tall,
In your presence, we willingly fall.
An addiction so sweet, so full of grace,
In each petal’s curve, serenity’s face.
Morning’s first light, or evening’s soft glow,
In your presence, time seems to slow.
Collecting your blooms, a joy untold,
Each one a treasure, more precious than gold.
From cuttings to gardens, in pots they stand,
A plumeria addiction, across the land.
In whispers of leaves, in the breeze’s soft kiss,
Plumeria, you fill our souls with bliss.
An addiction of beauty, of fragrance so sweet,
In your captivating presence, our hearts beat.
So here’s to the plumeria, in all its glory,
Each flower, each leaf, a part of the story.
In gardens and pots, their splendor we hoard,
In the world of plumeria, we are joyfully absorbed.
