Plumeria education, photography and growing experience

Tex Norwood

TexNorwood.com is the personal home of my plumeria work, educational projects, photography and growing experience.

Experience in the plant, not just the page

More than 30 years of hands-on plumeria growing.

For more than 30 years, I have grown plumeria in different climates, including Texas and South Florida. Since joining Florida Colors Nursery in 2012, I have had the opportunity to grow, observe, propagate, fertilize, graft, photograph and evaluate thousands of plumeria plants under real nursery conditions.

My goal is to help plumeria growers move beyond guesswork and understand how plumeria actually grow — by phase, by condition, by climate and by plant response.

Learning through observation

Flower photographs are part of the plumeria record.

Plumeria flower photography helps document cultivar traits, bloom color, petal form, texture, and the visual differences that make each plumeria memorable.

Start here

Plumeria education built from real growing experience.

TexNorwood.com helps growers find the right path into Tex Norwood’s plumeria work, from structured courses and care articles to flower photography and nursery resources. The site is organized around practical growing decisions, not generic plant advice.

Tex’s work connects more than 30 years of hands-on plumeria growing with daily nursery observation at Florida Colors Nursery. That experience gives growers a clearer way to think about seasonal cycles, watering, fertilizing, rooting, grafting, pest symptoms, climate response and cultivar differences.
