In the garden of dreams, where plumerias reign,
Lies a challenge, filled with joy and strain.
The art of rooting, a task so keen,
Where cuttings and soil and hope convene.

A cutting so bare, devoid of root,
Holding the promise of a floral shoot.
In its silent wait, a story untold,
Of a future bloom, bright and bold.

With hands so careful, a cut is made,
In the plumeria’s branch, a trust laid.
A piece of life, in our hands we hold,
A fragment of beauty, waiting to unfold.

In pots of soil, the cuttings stand,
Placed gently there, by a tender hand.
A mix of hope, and patience, and skill,
Waiting for nature to work its will.

The challenge is set, in time and care,
In the warmth of the sun, and the cool air.
Water and wait, a gardener’s creed,
For the roots to form, to fulfill the need.

Days turn to weeks, in anxious wait,
For signs of life, for fate’s dictate.
In the quiet soil, a miracle grows,
As roots from the cutting, slowly unclose.

The challenge of rooting, a journey so long,
Filled with moments of doubt, of hope strong.
Each new root, a victory won,
In the cycle of life, under the sun.

For in each rooted cutting, a lesson so clear,
Of perseverance, of overcoming fear.
In the world of plumerias, where beauty resides,
The challenge of rooting, is where triumph abides.
